Metrostar to Represent New Blake’s 7

Metrostar, the brand licensing and literary agency, has been appointed by B7 Media to represent their cross-media remake of Blake’s 7.
In 2003, B7 Media acquired the format, script and character rights to “Blake’s 7″ with a view to re-imagining the brand for a new generation. To date, they have produced three hour-long full-cast audio dramas, along with a prequel audio series entitled Blake’s 7: The Early Years. However, their focus has always been the development of a new television series and Sky One recently announced that it has greenlit development on two scripts of the iconic British Science Fiction series.
Metrostar’s Claire Potter comments,
Blake’s 7 is an iconic Science Fiction brand with a large current and future fan base. Its return to television will attract enormous interest and we are delighted to be working with B7 Media to develop books and other publishing products that will relaunch this classic brand for a new generation.
Andrew Mark Sewell of B7 Media comments,
Metrostar have a fantastic reputation for delivering strong brand extensions to successful television shows and we are delighted to be working with them on the future cross-media revival of Blake’s 7.
